"Did grandma take her evening dose yesterday? And the day before?" Memory fails, and the note on the fridge gets lost within a week. Intake history answers that at a glance.

Since version 1.9.0, the mojApteczka app keeps an intake history — a screen that shows which doses were taken over recent days, as a calendar and a heat map. You filter it by person and by a specific medicine, and you export the whole thing to a PDF report for your doctor.

Why intake history

Simply scheduling reminders is not enough to be sure the therapy is actually being followed. What counts is whether the doses were really taken — and how regularly. With chronic medicines, antibiotics that have a set course length, or when caring for a senior, regularity can be the difference between an effective therapy and another trip to the doctor.

Intake history turns daily dispense confirmations into a clear picture: at a glance you see days with a full set of doses, days with missed ones, and stretches where things fell apart.

Calendar and heat map

The history shows taken doses in two complementary ways:

  • calendar — day by day, marking which doses were taken,
  • heat map — the density of intake over time, where a more intense colour means more doses taken.

The heat map is especially good at revealing patterns: a regular streak, weekend gaps, or the moment when the therapy started to slip.

Filter by person and by medicine

One cabinet often means several people and many medicines at once. That is why you narrow the history down:

  • by person — yours, a family member's, or a ward's, to check the regularity for a specific person,
  • by medicine — to trace a single therapy over time, e.g. whether an antibiotic was taken for the full number of days.

Filters can be combined, so in a few seconds you can answer "how did grandma take her blood-pressure medicine over the last month".

Durable attribution of person and medicine

History is only trustworthy when it correctly knows who took what — even long afterwards:

  • manual and self doses are read as you,
  • a family member's or ward's doses keep their attribution to the right person even after the reminder is deleted,
  • next to every dose you see the real medicine name, not a raw identifier.

This way history from months ago still "reads" properly, even though the schedule has changed in the meantime. It is an extension of dispense confirmation: individual confirmations add up to a coherent record of the therapy.

Export to a doctor's PDF

The history lives in the app, but you take it to the appointment as a file. From a single screen you generate a PDF report narrowed to a person, a medicine, and a date range, and share it through the system share sheet — by email, message, or by saving it to Files. The difference is simple: History is the overview screen, and the PDF report is its export, ready to show the doctor.

Memory across devices

On paid plans the history is stored in the cloud, so it comes back after you change phones or reinstall. On the free plan you can save the history with a rewarded ad — without losing data when you switch.

Intake history and PDF export are available in the mojApteczka app on iOS from version 1.9.0 (June 2026); the Android version is in preparation.

Frequently asked questions

How does the app know who took a given dose?
Every dose is attributed to the right person. Manual and self doses are read as you, while a family member's or ward's doses keep their attribution even after the reminder is deleted. Next to every dose you also see the real medicine name, not a raw identifier.
Will the history survive a phone change or reinstall?
On paid plans the history is stored in the cloud and comes back after you change devices or reinstall. On the free plan you can save the history with a rewarded ad.
How is History different from the PDF report for the doctor?
History is the overview screen in the app — a calendar and heat map of taken doses that you filter by person and medicine. The PDF report is an export of that history to a file, ready for an appointment. History is the source; the report is what you show the doctor.
Do I see a ward's doses in the history?
Yes. The history covers people under your care and members of shared kits you have access to. Filtering by person lets you quickly check how regularly a specific ward takes their medicines.
Which devices support intake history?
Intake history and PDF export are available in the mojApteczka app on iOS (from version 1.9.0, June 2026). The Android version is in preparation.
