How It Started

Two boxes of medicines in the bathroom cabinet, half of them expired — that was our home medicine cabinet. As parents from Poznań, we knew we were not alone. In Polish homes, medicines worth hundreds of zlotys are thrown away every year, and expired products can end up being given to children instead of being taken to a pharmacy collection point.

We decided to change that.

Our Mission

We are building a tool that helps Polish families keep their home medicine cabinet in order — without stress, without wasting medicines, and without the risk of giving someone an expired product.

mojApteczka is the only solution in Poland that combines AI-powered packaging analysis with data from the official Register of Medicinal Products (Rejestr Produktów Leczniczych). Take photos of the packaging, and the system identifies the medicine, fills in the details, and reminds you when the expiry date is approaching.

Who Is It For?

mojApteczka was created for Polish families — parents of young children, caregivers for older adults, and anyone managing medicines for loved ones. We believe that an organised home medicine cabinet is not a luxury, but a foundation of health safety in every home.

In Our Cabinet Today

We use mojApteczka every day in our own family of four. Here are our current numbers:

86 medicines scanned and added to our shared medicine cabinet
15 medicines flagged as expired and marked for disposal
5 medicines with expiry date alerts in the next few days
3 family members sharing the medicine cabinet (plus me as the owner)

These are not marketing numbers — this is our daily reality. Every feature in mojApteczka exists because we needed it ourselves.
